What initially started out as a small quest to save a childhood landmark, quickly turned into an organization that plants over 15,000 trees with 600 volunteers working annually to end deforestation. Jesus Dueñas created Amigos de la Montaña, which means Friends of the Mountain and has since made considerable leaps in Patamban, Michoacán, Mexico.
